The Southern Oregon Loan Processing Center has an opening for a Mortgage Loan Processing Supervisor in our Medford, OR location. This position is responsible and accountable for all aspects of residential mortgage loan processing & closings with special attention paid to compliance, loan quality and timing. Key functions include but are not limited to the following:
Performs an initial review of all loan applications for conformity to programs offered, LTV ratios and maximum loan amount and assigns to processors.
Manages and oversees the workflow and drive loan quality on incoming applications.
Monitors efficiency and production performance of processors.
Accurately input data into system and other applications as needed.
Ensure every loan package is complete and all information is correct.
Ensures timeliness of necessary disclosures and compliance standards.
Reviews completed loans for accuracy and adherence to government regulations, compliance and company guidelines.
Works with Division Loan Ops providing training to processors as necessary.
Available for assistance to processors on processing problems.
Communicates the loan processing and timelines with Branch Managers.
Partner with Sales Leadership to understand and drive business strategy focused on quality.
Partner with UW and Branches to ensure the highest customer service levels and cycle times.
Full-time schedule; 40 hours per workweek.
This position works in a regionalized processor center at the division level and requires strong mortgage processing knowledge and background. Candidate must be knowledgeable in the areas of mortgage lending, workflow and compliance. Strong supervisory skills are required. Ability to make decisions and handle multiple priorities is also required. Candidate will be comfortable with mentoring staff and conducting training presentations to groups, and have good communication skills. Strong technology skills a plus.
