Customer Service Representative

Job Description

CSR I is a temporary designation during the trial six-month CSR training period. At the end of six-months, the CSR should be capable of performing at the CSR II level. This position is responsible for providing courteous and efficient service to branch clients by opening and closing new accounts; processing checking and savings transactions; answering questions, in person and on the phone; processing loan payments; and cross selling bank services. Job schedule varies based on branch hours of operation.

Requirements

Education/Skills/Training: High school diploma or approved equivalent; math skills; keyboarding and computer skills; 10-key; filing; organized; and excellent communications skills.

Experience: Client relations; cash handling; general clerical.

Physical Requirements: Light, intermittent physical effort; must be able to stand for long periods of time; able to carry daily business boxes, check boxes, etc. (approximately 20 lbs.).

Working Conditions: Typical office conditions.
