Job Description

The Commercial Real Estate Department has an opening for a Loan Coordinator.  This position is responsible for receiving, processing, funding, loan requests, and providing high quality service by building and maintaining productive relationships with builders, realtor's, existing customer, and/or brokers.  Washington Federal is proud of the high value that we all place on simply being nice when serving our co-workers and Washington Federal clients. 

Key functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Processing and closing loans according to Washington Federal policies and procedures and regulatory.
  • Initiating credit and title reports, and appraisal orders for review by the department.
  • loan applications and correspondence to prospective borrowers and customers.
  • Updating and maintaining financial ticklers.
  • Processing loan modifications, payoff requests and facilitating re conveyances.
  • Review and approve closing statements and documentation for accuracy.
  • Processing construction draws and coordinating inspections with third party services.
  • Participating in loan product production development and referral activities.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with customer/builders.

Job Schedule

Full-time schedule; 40 hours per workweek.

Requirements

Must have a minimum of two years commercial loan closing experience.  Knowledge of legal documentation and terminology relating to real estate transactions.  Knowledge of title insurance, laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.  Ability to deal with the public , in person and by telephone, in a personable manner.  Ability to analyze situations and make sound decisions.  Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.  Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.  High level of accuracy and attention to detail.  Ability to organize, prioritize and follow through on work assignments.  Math aptitude and typing and 10-key.
