Washington Federal turned 95 years old on April 13.  We got our start as Ballard Savings & Loan back in 1917, when a group of businessmen in the Ballard community (north of Seattle) banded together to form an association.  They wanted to make home loans and provide their neighbors with a safe place to save for the future.  We've been investing in our neighborhoods ever since!
